Question by : Once backpacking by a forest or anyplace in the wilderness, as should overe keep their food at night?
One of the first things I have learned when camping/backpacking is to never keep any sort of of food inside your tent at all. Whenever so, and overe is backpacking, say by the Rockies, and so as should you put your food when you are not hiking?

Some place at Rocky Mountain National Park they have “Bear Boxes” and “Bear Cables” or you may get a bear canister.
